Ctas Live Video Streaming, Live Timing and Live Recording Terms and Conditions
By using this service, you agree to the following:
1. You will not Copy or Record any information from this stream, data or website without approval from CTAS. Any method of copying or recording is a breach of copyright, and we reserve the right to cancel your login at any time.
2. You will not attempt to operate this system in any other way than its intention, which is for watching the event live, or if recorded videos, then watching them on the computer that you are logged in on.
3. For Live event streaming, we do everything we can to ensure that this service is operating for the duration of the event. However, this service is provided on an As-Is basis. There are no guarantees of service availability.
4. You will not defame, criticise, speak or write in a negative or derogatory nature of CTAS, the CtasLive, Live Timing or any CTAS service on any media or publication.
5. The internet is a large, fluctuating and non-guaranteed data path. We do the best we can to ensure the service is working, but we cannot be accountable for full end to end service. The reality is that a fault can happen somewhere else, but it may look like it is our fault, when it isn't.
6. Service is considered to be provided if it is confirmed that the stream is running.
7. When using Chat, you will not pretend to be someone you are not.
8. When using Chat, you will not swear, criticise, complain unreasonably or act in any abusive way.
9. Any messages on Chat considered inappropriate, will be removed.
10. Repeated inappropriate use of Chat, will result in you being Banned.
11. We comply with the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015. To deter, prevent, and mitigate harm caused to individuals by digital communications, in the case of this site, whether through Chat or any other information, if you have a complaint about specific content, contact us through the "Contact Us" button shown on the ctas.co.nz page, and we will remove it within 48 hours.
12. The Schedule posted on this site, may vary due to various factors. It is correct at the time it was published, but as things can change, the schedule may vary. We don't update it during the event.
13. In the case of Live Streaming, if you paid for this event streaming, that will be because the event promoters have set the price, and are collecting the money. Any complaints should be directed to them, and CTAS are not accountable for this. CTAS do operate the PayPal system, and so we can help out from a technical point of view.
14. If this is a paid event or recording, the Paypal system requires that you click each button right to the completion. If you don't, then the Login and Password are not sent to you. Therefore, we have a 15 minute timer that checks for any login details not sent, and sends them. So if you had trouble, or didn't complete the process completely, but the payment went through, then wait a few minutes as our system will pick up on this, and send your login details to your email.
15. Never share your login with others. This system is tracking viewers, and if someone else logs in with your login details, it will disconnect you.
16. If this is a Live Event, CTAS are streaming it as is. CTAS are not accountable for anything that may go wrong during the day at the event.
17. Live Timing is fed from the timing server directly. This information is not based on confirmed results, as there may be penalties, faulty or missing tx's, or any other unexpected situations to take into account. You should not assume that this information has yet been validated, and so points and race positions may ultimately differ from what you see here.
18. In providing services on the internet or in applications, CTAS reserves the right to display the CTAS Logo in places we select.
19. The information on this site, including, but not limited to, Live Timing, Audio and Video, is being made available for the enjoyment of interested viewers. It is not the intention of this information to be used against people; personally, legally, intently or politically. Any expectation or request to do so, may be refused by CTAS and/or any of the event organisers or officials.
20. The information on this site is live, and so should not be considered to have been reviewed, sanctioned and subject to official criteria. Therefore, there is no guarantee on the validity of these results.
21. If there is an Audio broadcast in the service you are watching, you must accept that the commentary is live, and the commentators are calling the event as they see it live. They do not have the benefit of closeup or replay analysis, and are doing the best they can to provide this service for you.
22. In the unfortunate situation of an accident or injury, any information on this site is provided for general information, with the same intention as any of the competition. If a competitor is hurt, the information on this site must not be used for circulating information through other media, other than what is considered reasonable in terms of humanity and best interests. Eg to say the competitor fell but is not hurt is ok. To say that a competitor is lying on the ground not moving is definitely not ok.
23. We do our best to provide support during the event, however, we are often very busy, doing a lot of other event related work as well. If you require support, we suggest you do ask before the event starts, rather than during it.
24. The Ctas or CtasLive stream is our official live stream, and will be viewed at the ctaslive or livetiming website. This provides viewing to all PC's, Macs, Iphone, Ipad, Android and Smart TV devices, as long as they are using valid current versions of HTML5 or IOS supported browsers or software.
25. Our policy is that we do not provide streams to other, unofficial apps or websites, especially if they are running ads, in app purchases or requiring subscriptions. The best viewing is achieved via our official live stream, at the ctaslive.nz, ctaslive.co.nz, livetiming.nz or livetiming.co.nz site. If you are on a different site, we suggest closing it, and proceed to our official site.
